I personally love Tina, I was upset when she had sex with Henry even though she had been with men before Bette. I considered the chat room crossing a line. I felt some of how she behaved was a reaction to Bette cheating on her. The show could be biphobic.

Yeah I definitely feel like none of the characters really felt that being bisexual is valid. But I see it as…Tina and Bette got back together too soon. After the excitement of the new baby died down, Tina realized this and felt like they sort of had a dead relationship. They obviously loved each other, but it wasn’t working at that point and it just happened to coincide with Tina having feelings for men again. They were basically already broken up by the time she fooled around with that guy she worked with. I dunno.

Tina got a lot of hate because she cheated on Bette in season three and had a relationship with Henry. That’s how I remember why.

Are you talking about the chat room thing? I don’t really consider that cheating, I mean yeah it’s wrong but… Still. Why would that make you hate her? And what’s wrong with having a relationship with Henry? She only dated men before Bette, it’s unreasonable to believe she’d never be attracted to one ever again.

I think it’s because she’s sweet and not at all annoying that people hate her. For many of us, shes a characterless can’t relate to because we don’t behave that way or have people in our lives who behave like Tina.
